I was at a cafe the other day where they had an initiative to pay for the next customers drink. I was seated by the cashier and noted that everyone who received the free drink then paid it forward by paying for the next customers drink. It was so heartening. Kindness is met with kindness. All it takes is one little act, a smile, a positive comment, to brighten up someone’s day, to make them feel seen, to let them feel heard.
Fighting COVID-19 isn’t just about medicine and measures. It’s about kindness and unity – standing together and looking out for each other to overcome this as ONE-
Offering help when needed
Not being selfish – no hoarding, profiteering or ostracising anyone
Empathising – with everyone affected, from frontliners to suspected/confirmed/discharged cases.
